That's a pretty nice drawing. It doesn't look like a very nice town compared to the big city, but it looks like a nice drawing

There's a world of difference between Big City and Calderon. I don't believe medieval were very clean :P

However, I'm not pleased with the final result of the town, mainly because I ran out of space to work with. (We only see a part of the town.) I should have made something bigger, but I had to rush it.

After following this comic for some time now, I'm starting to wonder about:

- Which program you are using for drawing your sprites?
- And (if you don't mind telling), what postprocessing steps you are using for creating pixelated looks?

My crude guess of the second question would be drawing a large page with decent grid alignment, followed by downsizing the image, and resize it up again without interpolator/nearest-neighbour filter?

P.S. Truth to be told, normally I don't read sprite comics; but there is something I can't put my finger on about this one that keep me reading. So thanks for keeping up the good work.

I use graphicsgale and gimp for the pixel art.

I make overview by using technics from isometric pixelart. Here's a simple tutorial I found on google: http://gas13.ru/v3/tutorials/isometric_pixelart_tutorial_isometric_house.php

I don't really uses some postprocessing. I make pixelated look because I draw directly with pixels.

and thank you :) Always glad to see new faces in the comment
